Harbour Centre – Environmentally Sustainable Management
At Harbour Centre we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint for the sake of the planet and to achieve energy savings that we can pass on to our tenants in the form of lower operating costs. We also encourage our tenants to use alternative means of transportation by providing a secure bike compound and Translink’s Employer Pass Program.
Harbour Centre has been BOMA BESt certified since December 2009.
BOMA BESt is a voluntary environmental recognition program for commercial buildings, which recognizes those buildings where environmental best practices have been implemented into their operations.
Construction Material Recycling
Our Construction Department recycles building materials used for all on-site projects.
Electronic recycling for computers, monitors, circuit boards, keyboards, telephones, cell phones, modems, fax machines, copiers and printers and cables is located on the P1 level.
Electronic Communication with Tenants

Harbour Centre is proactive in energy conservation focusing on the building’s electrical and mechanical systems, with installation of light sensors in common areas as well as energy efficient lighting, water meters and more. Harbour Centre has partnered with BC Hydro as part of the BC Hydro Power Smart Program.
