DRESS FOR SUCCESS – RETURNING TO HARBOUR CENTRE SEPTEMBER 2014

Dress for Success Logo

Due to the great success from their clothing sale in the Spring, Dress for Success Vancouver has decided to host their next Fall clothing sale again at Harbour Centre’s Upper Level Mall in September 2014. The staff and volunteers are very excited to have the support of Harbour Centre as 100% of all proceeds will go towards the funding of their programs that help empower women into the workforce.

LANDMARK IN MOTION

The Harbour Centre redevelopment will refresh and energize this city landmark, bringing exciting changes to the food court, common areas, and entrances. In the spring of 2013, Harbour Centre embarked on an extensive redevelopment of the food court, a refresh of the lower level common area, and a newly revitalized streetscape for the complex. The vision for the project is to create a complex that retains its rich heritage but portrays a dynamic environment where business and technology meet. The design concept can best be described as “modern contemporary”. The shapes used throughout the project will have an organic softness and angular sharpness. The contrast between these shapes will be used to create energy and fluid motion throughout.
